Gamma Iota Sigma @ Baylor
The purpose of Baylor University's Alpha Pi Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma is to encourage, establish, and enhance the professionalism of students in the field of Risk Management and Insurance (RMI). Our goal is to prepare our members for quality internship and employment opportunities in the risk management, insurance, actuarial science, and related fields. As a fraternal organization, we strive to build a sense of community and cohesion among members while improving their career opportunities through increased knowledge of the firms and industries which actively recruit students with RMI skills and interests.
Baylor's Alpha Pi Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma hosts several events each semester, including social and business meetings. We also host lectures by prominent business leaders in the RMI field, who (among other things) provide "real world" insight about current issues in risk management and insurance.
